Rather than text or send a chat message to each of you that have been questioning me today about Keith being in the ER today.....heres the update....and BTW...he hates me to put his health issues on here ...lol...Hes a VERY private person...extremely so...and some of the things I have had you pray for him, have gotten back to him by chance bumping into some of you and bringing up his health issues and then he comes back home grrrr to me. ;0) So, he had foot surgery last Monday for displaced bones in his feet that came from the Agent Orange that he deals with. He also has COPD and uses a c pap machine at night but, its been broken for a few months and he was being stubborn and not getting it replaced. So, after the surgery on Monday, they said his oxygen levels were really low and his COPD worse...in fact severe. A new machine was ordered today so, thats on the way to being fixed. But since he hasnt had it, his breathing is way worse, and his heart was having to work very hard to get oxygen into his lungs, which are also bad so, it caused fluid retention in his legs and face and his BP was sky rocket high. We spent the AM and a little of the PM in ER where they gave him a water pill and made him stay until he flushed out the fluids, his BP finally went down after another pill was given and his heart rate finally got regular,,,it was irregular when we got there. He was also given a breathing treatment and antibiotics as a precaution and prednisone to keep his lungs clear. Hes slept most of the day and is breathing a lot better....no struggle now. So, there it is in black and white.
