Ratification and complaint letter to Prof. Bernadette Atuahene (Part 1) Her book launch of We Want Whats Ours: Learning from South Africas Land Restitution Program (Oxford University Press, 2014 (22 November 2014) - These South African Institutions do not have a clue what is human rights concerning indigenous groups and issues. Because it is run, manage and control by foreign descendants or foreigners. They have to ignore Indigenous groups in order to have dominance rights in the country to take control of their land, resources, their people and communities including their sea. There is no such thing as Indigenous Black Groups in South Africa nor is there Indigenous White Groups. Ikeraam Korana I am Indigenous, but not a Black individual, nor am I a Coloured, but indeed an African. The terms Black or Coloured is a colonial and slave term to degrade a certain ethnic group, to make a person less in value to benefit other foreign group or colonialist. The terms is indeed racist and derogatory. So anyone refer me as a Coloured is racist, no different to those who forced my forefathers to call themselves as Coloureds. And for Prof. Bernadette, your book is based on hear say, have no scientifically truth. Like every coin has two sides, your book lack the other side of the coin, the truth that benefited foreigners of land both the Blacks and the Whites. The constitution of the country prevent all KhoiSan descendants to reclaim their country, not only properties, communities but the entire country including Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Zimbabwe just to name a few. The Whites kept stolen or dispossessed land and the Blacks have a law in place to gain land including the establishment of informal settlements, which leaves the KhoiSan descendants excluded 100% and landless.
