Rave: Had some birds come by the house today, raving about the folks who were helping them out with a little seed and feed. Apparently it can be a little tough at this time of the year. Maybe youve gt a few around that you can share some seed with??? To those who asked me to plow their driveways, or such, please forgive me for not getting back to you, or doing your place. It was all I could do to service the contracts I had (and I will still be busy fr at least two days with clean-up). Its kind of funny reading so many rants by people who felt that more could have been done. In a few years you will have forgotten the specifics of this storm, but the plow drivers will remember the blown transmissions, the plowing with no lights because something caused them to go out, the getting stuck in a snow pile, the crabby customer who needed to get to WalM . . . . ., the doctor, the blade that broke, the customer who said I should have been there earlier, the customer who yelled because I was so early and their sleep was disturbed, and I could go on, but Id love to hear some of the other plowers on here mention what theyll remember. I bear no malice towards those who tried to flag me down with a friendly smile and wave as I went from contract to contract. Perhaps the single digit view I saw of them was only a reflection of what I thought they must have been thinking. Im glad this is over, now its time to think about what I can do better next time something like this happens, How can I serve my neighbour or community better. Its not about me, its the people who might need my help, how can I help them, is my need greater than theirs, and its about the birds, do they need some seed?
