Raw thoughts: I did not see the Hell in a Cell PPV so I’m going off the recap notes in forming opinions. Not sure why you gave the belt to Orton at Summerslam and then did 3 PPV’s of screw job finishes or how John Cena jumps brands and over many other people who deserved the championship. I get the “low ratings” excuse and how he’ll “elevate the World Heavyweight championship” but the belt is more than the man holding it. The opening segment was over the top as not one single referee or road agent comes out to stop the beating (see next paragraph), then the WWE creative throws away a SUPER opportunity to elevate Damien Sandow by reminding EVERYONE how great John Cena is. So Sandow joins Mr. Kennedy (he dropped it to Edge when he was leaving TV due to being injured) & John Cena as the case holders to lose when they had the case. Someone made the case to me in an email that even in the loss, Sandow was elevated to main event status. I don’t see it that way. Very good six man tag team match for the Shield. Guess the referees were being saved for the Daniel Bryan/Shawn Michaels segment. Are the Wyatt Family now hired guns like the Shield attacking Daniel Bryan and CM Punk? Guess it’s time to begin production on See No Evil Part 2 huh Kane? Didn’t the WWE end the Cryme Time gimmick, so why slap it onto the Prime Time Players? Nice to see David Otunga on TV instead of being Mr. Jennifer Hudson. One year later we are still watching CM Punk vs. Ryback and thankfully Ryback has improved since then. Nice to see Summer Rae get in the ring instead of the Total Diva newbies plus the former Rudy Charles now Dan Engler on TV. Interesting to see the locker room take out the Shield to allow Big Show to take the spotlight from Daniel Bryan.
