RawganicVegan After my probiotic 101 post earlier today, lots of people asked for me to repost my cabbage rejuvelac recipe. It is by far, one of the: 1. EASIEST 2. CHEAPEST 3. MOST EFFECTIVE ways to help populate your healthy gut flora. Here you go! BE SURE TO DRINK 1/2 cup 3 times a day at least a half of an hour before drinking or eating anything else. To fully repopulate your gut flora, you should follow this protocol for 90 days without fail. I personally do it once per year, usually in the fall. RECIPE: INGREDIENTS: 3 Cups Loosely Packed Chopped Organic Green Cabbage 1 3/4 Cups Purified or Distilled Water 1. Blend for about 45 seconds until liquified. 2. Pour into mason jar, cover loosely, and let sit for exactly 72 hours. 3. When done, strain through milk bag, discard cabbage dregs. 4. Take 1/4 cup from this batch, and pour into a clean mason jar. 5. Pour remainder into a storage jar to drink and be refrigerated. It should taste slightly sour, a little tangy and almost a little carbonated. 6. Immediately make your second batch. Take 3 Cups loosely packed cabbage again, but this time you only need 1 1/2 cups water. Blend until liquefied. 7. Pour into mason jar containing 1/4 cup of finished brew. 8. Shake jar vigorously, then loosen cover. ****Each batch from now on only requires 24 hours to ferment. Follow this process every 24 hours.
