Ray Dean, March 31, 1946 - January 14, 2014 Ray Dean, age 67 of Leitchfield, passed away Tuesday January 14, 2014 in Taylorsville, Kentucky. He was born March 31, 1946 in Leitchfield, the son of the late James Henry and Ola (Hartley) Dean. He is survived by four daughters, Sandra Strubinger of Summerville, NC, Deborah Cain of Louisville, KY, Melissa Hayden of Columbia, TN, and Susan Shelburne of Taylorsville, KY, one sister, Viola King of Leitchfield, KY, seven grandchildren, Rachel, Andrew, Ethan, Brandi, Allie, Ariel and Hailey, and five great grandchildren Eli, Eva, Symrin, Darshan and Arjun. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday (January 19, 2014) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
