Ray Rice could never have imagined that on a party night, after getting well lubricated (drunk) and then a disagreement with his wife, , hits her, knocks her out, and then he drags her out of the elevator..... would have cost him a $4 Million roster bonus.... and his paycheck for now and into the future. That image of him smacking his wife, will forever be linked to his name and follow him the rest of his life. Heres the point for us today... Decisions have consequences. You think youre getting away with things (in an elevator), but youre not. What you do has ramifications and sometimes they are horrible and devastating. The decisions we make, and choose not to make, All have consequences that will play out in our lives. Todays question... are you surrendered to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Think about it, are you in that kinda, well, maybe, sort of.... Ill get to it later... state of life? Ok, what happens if youre on your way to work and you get broad sided by a drunk at 80mph, it kills you, and youre seeing that bright Light? Today, this morning? Are you ready for the consequence of you decision to delay, ignore, procrastinate the ONE decision that has more devastating consequences that losing a $4 Million roster bonus? I dont mean to scare you into doing the right thing, but maybe thats what you need. Maybe you need to see the reality of not choosing God and spending eternity in Hell, in anguish and despair and horror and suffering. That is where youre headed without Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. There is a way to avoid that devastation, and embrace the polar opposite for eternity. Its Heaven FOREVER when Jesus is your Lord and Savior. The reality is also that when you do make that GREAT decision the consequence is a life of joy and peace and comfort that you never could have imagined. I encourage you to make the best decision of your life.... Surrender to Jesus today! What are you waiting for? This could be the day you meet God face to face. Give it to God, your whole heart! And in that day you will say: O LORD, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God [is] my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For YAH, the LORD, [is] my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. [Isa 12:1-2 NKJV]
