Ray will be having surgery in the morning. He will be having a shunt placed in his brain to his abdomen. It will help drain the accumulating fluid in the right side of the ventricles in his brain. After undergoing 3 cycles of antibiotics via 2 drains in his head they are comfortable with saying his infection is gone! Fingers crossed it stays gone. Hes been 7 days off of all antibiotics and hes showing much improvement everyday!!! As a matter of fact he walked the entire unit with NO walker!! Hes averaging 2 laps 3xs a day!! Rays been in ICU now for 2 solid months. I havnt wanted to give any updates because Everytime I do he takes a giant step back in his recovery. Just think of ray tomorrow and try to wear your Gray For Ray shirts for support. Positive energy and prayers are always appreciated.
