Re 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. ----The book of Job deals with why the just suffer relative to men, & in chapter 33 ---we even find in Elihus response: the Gospel hope. This book of Job is contemporary with days of Abraham, within a hundred years or so of the Babel dispersion. Noah’s son Shem lived for 150 years after Abraham was born. Shem had lived contemporaneous with Methuselah for 98 years, and Methuselah had lived contemporaneous with Adam for 243 years. . Thus Abraham could have known a man who was removed from Adam by only one generation. This shows how easily truth and traditions could have been passed along from generation to generation in those days. “Abraham could have learned directly from Shem Noah’s account of the Flood and Methuselah’s account of Adam and the Garden of Eden” ---plus the toledoth s & what we now know of the literacy of the Middle East at that time, reveal that writing was known & God could well have had Moses edit written records in existence with Gods additional revelation. --------------There is a wealth of scientific knowledge embedded in the narrative of Job. And geological & theological details harmoniously corresponding with ancient history (lost to men until archaeology began uncovering it in the last two centuries). No mystical mumbo jumbo & subjective mythologizing here.
