Re-Fuelling the Countryside Nextgen, 8-9 October 2014, Stoneleigh Park The Royal Agricultural Society of England invites you to explore the opportunities that renewable fuels and transport may provide for your farm business. Transport fuels from renewable sources have the potential to reduce UK energy costs, to improve air quality and to address energy security. Farms are ideally placed to exploit the opportunities for fossil fuel replacement both from a supplier and a user perspective and some progressive farmers are beginning to explore the options. The “Re-Fuelling the Countryside” Showcase at Nextgen is a dedicated session hosted by the Royal Agricultural Society of England showcasing low carbon vehicles and opportunities for renewable fuels for farms and rural areas. Farmers, rural businesses and the wider industry are encouraged to come along to engage with low vehicle suppliers, renewable fuel companies and hear first hand case studies on the benefits and opportunities that exist in producing renewable fuel.
