Re: Officials in Gov. Jerry Browns office have reportedly offered Tesla up to $500 million in tax breaks as well as exemptions to the California Environmental Quality Act to bring the factory to the Golden State. Offering my due diligence proposal based on Teslas Gigafactory Site in Calif. relative to: (A) June 10, 2014 - UCLA Feasibility Analysis for a 300 mile PV Solar-powered Calif. Aquaduct (SF to LA). environment.ucla.edu/perch/resources/files/adeptfinalreport1.pdf 300 miles of Calif. Aquaduct at 2.5 MW per mile of Solar PV panels would produce up to 1,281,712 MWh/yr. and prevent 2,236,704 gals of water from evaporating per MW installed. Also, Solar Photovoltaic Panels dont require any cooling water unlike steam-turbine condenser generating systems. So in total, up to 1,708,841,856 gals of water and 355,107 metric tons of CO2 would be abated per year. Including augmenting with Hydro & Wind turbines, High-Voltage Transmission Bus supporting DeepWaterDesal 25 million gals per day Desalination, seawater cooling of a co-located Data Center, and High Speed Internet Infrastructure project. (B) FOR SALE ($5 million) - an awesome site proposal at the historical Byron Hot Springs Hotel Spa & Golf Resort Site for Development (371 acres) loopnet/ATTACHMENTS/7/E/5/7E5174B1-B76D-4E1A-9EB9-2C59AF93A518.PDF ByronHotSprings is a great opportunity along with geothermal, Lithium mining, and plug-in connection to 576 MW of renewable energy resources from the Altamont Pass Windturbine Farm wind farm (via 1-1/2 mile underground trench through Byron Airport), including potentially a 300 mile Solar PV Calif. Aquaduct. Nearby (1 mi.) is Byron Airport designed originally for mid-size cargo and reliever airport service. (C) May 30, 2014 - TriLink239.org (State Route 239) Byron Airport Connector ($630-770 million) Feasibility Study - uses AutoCAD and ArcGIS for goal in incorporating innovative green design: solar road panels; recycled materials, EV charging stations, carbon sequestration. trilink239.org/FeasibilityStudy/Final/FinalStudy.html This video describes the TriLink Airport Connector routes under consideration (6:24 min.) youtu.be/GQ_mbxWA2bM Accordingly, there are many existing and potential future freight generators in the study area. These include many regional distribution warehouses in Tracy, the largest of which is the Safeway Stores center. In addition, Amazon recently announced plans to build a large distribution center in the city. Other existing generators include the major Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) intermodal rail-to-truck transfer facility in Lathrop and numerous facilities in Stockton:agricultural distribution centers, such as the O-G Packing & Cold Storage Company site, which employs more than 1,000 workers; the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad intermodal yard facility; and a port with access to the Sacramento River and the Bay Area via the Stockton Deepwater Channel. The Port of Stockton has 7.7 million square feet of warehouses that are either operated by the Port or leased to tenants who provide their own labor. The Port has access to I-5, and its facilities are served by two transcontinental railroads.
