Re: Todays Digital First Sensation. Hmmm. Mixed emotions. First, theres continuity with the last print issues well done Diebert story and I dont think I like that. I want an anthology myself, and this story literally picks up from the last one but without the same vibe. The colors are back, and the notion of (my beloved) Wonder Closet is a thing here so theres that. Its a Gods-focused thing without any appearances by the Patrons. My beef: launches into the having-no-code-against-killing thing and I know thats part of her, but I think its been looked at more than enough in a decade. For us digital subscribers, it ends in a cliffhanger with an interesting turn of events. Im anxious to see where it goes, but so many weeks in I *REALLY* hope we see some updatings of vintage Super-heroine tropes and the like. The art is PRETTY good, Id call it standard issue- I see an Alan Grant influence in there, for sure. Ill give it a B.
