Re-arranging one room, tends to have a snowball effect. When one of my two cupboards in the sewing room collapsed on Saturday, it started a much needed sorting out of stuff. As I had to have sewing stuff on the second cupboard, I then decided to do what I had been planning. I got shelves for the hallway cupboard, and turned that into a closet solely for hat supplies. However, the hallway closet was like a Tardis. I had somehow managed to fit two wedding dresses, two wedding petticoats, a few stage costumes, and about 10 coats/jackets in that cupboard. Everything from that closet, ended up on the living room floor. After going through that pile, there were at least 8 coats/jackets I wanted to keep. This meant the only place they could go, were in my already stuffed to the gills bedroom closets. That saga continues this morning. I had hoped to build my new kitchen island today. Guess that will have to wait until tomorrow.
