Re-assembling my dads AR over here in CA after cleaning and lubing it and I go to pop a mag in and drop it, here I am for an hour thinking some component of the release has somehow just fallen out. No that was not the case, for some silly reason CA saw the ability to conveniently release a mag as a threat, now the law says you have to use a tool to release the mag. So basically the button is there but you have to reach in a cm to enguage the release. How stupid. Its just plain inconvenient, any idiot with a toothpick and a peice of tape can step right around it but why should we be forced to do so?
