Re: https://youtube/all_comments?v=va9mYXsOYy8 Again, this is one of the reasons I will eventually buy a Rift, in one form or another, to better evaluate the situation. How no vertical parallax ends up being terrible vertical parallax by the time I see the capture on YouTube is a mystery to me. I dont understand how just downsampling the imagery alone can introduce it. Some people keep saying my eyes are the eyes that are screwed up. Someone else said that I dont understand how stereoscopic photospheres are created. Well AAMOF, Ive never created one, but I do know how to check for vertical parallax, which, IMO, is one of the first things stereographers should learn. And, as far as the amount of stereoscopic net deviation in the game is concerned, Ill be looking for good stereoscopic screenshots in the games, and this is one similarity between reality and virtual reality, i.e., we rarely experience perfect stereoscopy in either. Because of this, I might eventually abandon the idea of playing stereoscopic games with a VR HMD, and just play them with my 3D TV, or buy a Nintendo 3DS, since in the best stereoscopic games, the amount of stereoscopic net deviation could indeed be adjusted.
