Re post The government of Malaysia is now co-ordinating round-the-clock efforts of 25 countries, to trace the course of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, Boeing 777 Airliner. It is requested that the governments and security services of a number of countries, including Khazakstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kirghizstan, India, and Bangladesh join the diplomatic and technical mission co-ordinated by Malaysia, to track the course of and trace the missing airliner. It is also requested that France provides her satellite data. French investigators will join the search on Monday. The airliner’s flight path has so far been ascertained with precision: that it deviated westwards from its scheduled flight-path halfway over the Gulf of Thailand, then crossed back over the Malay Peninsula, and then crossed over the Indonesian island of Sumatra. It is preferred to NOT treat this as a hijacking at all, because as yet we do not know why the airliner deviated from its course, with the transponders turned off. The BBC also mentions that no phone calls have been made by the passengers or crew on board the Missing Malaysian Airways airliner, since it deviated from its flight path. According to the data so far collected and analysed, there are two possible search paths for the missing airliner. One search path stretches across the southern Indian Ocean. Another search path stretches over India and China to Kazakhstan. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has been informed of the situation. I am confident that the President of Khazakstan and his governing authorities will be able to assist, and that their assistance will be invaluable. INT CORPS
