Thinking back to when my kids were little, I have to agree with Jemma Wills that going to the loo without some small person hammering on the door has to be the best simple pleasure ever! I used to pretend I needed to go, just to grab a few moments peace. I also love Tracy Kidners solo bus journey... mine is from Biggar to Edinburgh & much enjoyed.
