Reached the airport... I realize all the smiling faces that look at me with recognition of who I am, the love and admiration in their eyes, the kind n affectionate words spoken to me. All these treasures are wat ive earned in my life. In 27 yrs going thru all the sweat , struggle, insecurities of the acting profession, the uncertainties of getting work. The diminished bank balance at the end of the month , nail biting stress waiting for a chq to be credited to my account. The mounting bills and responsibilities. THEY ARE ALL WORTH IT IF I CAN GET ALL THE LOVE N RESPECT THAT I GET. Which also makes me wonder whether my journey in politics was real worth it. I mean did I lose more tham I gained. Did it affect my brand equity. (For watever its worth)? Cud I really impact the lives of people like I wanted to? I thank you God for giving me this recognition in life I am glad I dnt need chamchas around me like most politicians do, to tell ppl who they are. And I pray to God to give me the tenacity to stick on a path (maybe politics maybe not) where I can do good for the ppl of my country.
