Read: Prov. 14:30; 1 Thess. 5:18; Phil. 4:6 Envy Rotten the Bones but Thanksgiving, gives Life Envy does not meet human’s needs at this time or ever. But giving thanks to the Lord gives satisfaction and soundness of spirit. The Word says, “A sound heart is the life of the flesh but envy is rottenness to the bones” (Prov. 14:30), ‘In every-thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thess. 5:18). And “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and suppli-cation with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” (Phil. 4:6).
