Many people, especially African Americans don’t know about this. Most of us also don’t know that the Black Madonna and Child comes from the Ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) story of Auset/Isis and the Virgin born Heru/Horus who was born on Dec. 25th. This story predates the Virgin Mary and Jesus story by thousands of years. What you don’t know is hurting. Just because you never heard this information before does not mean that it’s not true.
