Read a NYTimes review of a new documentary, Finding Vivian Maier, about a street photographer & nanny not discovered until after her passing; the article mentioned Mary Ellen Mark, along with a link. I clicked on it, and found out shes a photographer with quite a resumé & portfolio. She also conducts workshops, including one in Mexico, and theres an amazing book of shots by those that have studied with her down there that I stumbled on (while procrastinating and not practicing my tango-esque playing for a gig Ive got this weekend).
