Read a very meaningful article on the KLM in-flight magazine during my last Bali trip..Its about Measure of Pleasure. There is this paragraph on kingdom of Bhutan famed for rejecting gross domestic product (GDP) as a way of measuring its progress back in 1970s, opting instead for gross national happiness (GNH): the spiritual, physical and social health of its citizens and natural environment. In the last 20 years,Bhutan’s emphasis on happiness has helped them get out of poverty & double its average life expectancy, enroll almost 100% of its children in primary school and overhaul its infrastructure. Seriously, hope that our garmen would emphasis more on our citizens happiness!! To all my dear families, sisters, brothers, cousins, frenz & colleagues: Get rid of everything that doesnt make you happy & focus on things that DO!! Lets HAPPINESS be our life motto! If you want to get ahead, get Happy!! Muakz!😙
