Read it complete: I am doing Internship in Descon Engineering-a big multinational- and guess what? They are highly impressed with just one institute-GIKI. They didnt ask me QS ranking on my first day.They said You are from GIKI? You must be a genius then. GIKI is a highly reputed university. Descon has many engineers from GIKi. They didnt bother to mention NUST or others as universities with great job market-only GIKi. What bigger proof you need that GIKI is the best? And as for faculty: Go check both universities websites. Deans of GIKI are Professor Doctors with years of teaching experience while Deans of Nust are recent phds of 2011 or 2010. Campus doesnt matter. It is the quality of teaching and the toughness of exams that really matters. The industries give their first preference to giki graduates. I am not saying this. One engineer of my department in Descon said that Many firms just call graduates of GIKI, NED and LUMS, So all those people who have a complex of GIKI please stay quiet. GIKI was, is and always will be miles above NUST.
