Read on the Association of Coaching forum: In Object of Love, commissioned for the New Performance Turku Festival, members of the public were invited to sign up for a 1to-1 coaching session with artist Joshua Sofaer, who offers them a confidential 25 minute coaching session in a soundproof glass box in the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art. The ‘performance’ acts as an interesting metaphor for coaching: the coach and coachee are in a sound proof glass box (containment) ; the coach is blindfolded (emphasis on listening); the coach has hung up his civilian clothes and is in costume (not about the coach).
