Just like all of the other students who are testing. Read! Test! If you pass, you are a good reader. If not, you can take the test again tomorrow. And where is the conversation, the invitation to thought capture? As that apprentice is working with the carpenter, there is modeling and mentoring. There are certainly conversations around strategy and approach. And there is evidence--in the tools and the creation around the shop--that the work is important to the carpenter as it will be to the apprentice in the future.
