The Republicans came into office with a 100 point plan for their first hundred days. They accomplished most of the items on that list, and over the following year they ferreted out ridiculous amounts of money spent on committees with chairs making six figure salaries which had not met in two or three years, created to make jobs for Democrat cronies. Balancing the budget and reducing debt had to be the number one priority after the ridiculous amount of spending the Democrats had done, but they still managed to eek out 2% for teachers. During the following legislative session, they added to that 7%. Some teachers whine and cry that they only got 2% or 3% or whatever, but the salaries were not across the board in order to create fairness in the pay structure. Some teachers were overpaid based on their experience and education and some were underpaid based on their experience and education. Tom Tillis has led a remarkable life, and he succeeded on his intelligence and hard work. He is being maligned by people who have cherry-picked a couple of things that they think he has done - apparently all by himself - that they do not like and disregarded the remainder of his whole, brilliant, political career. He is the kind of man with the strength of character to stand up to Barack Obama which should be the priority of every conservative in this country. When you go into the voting booth and youre alone, pencil in hand, ready to color in your little bubbles, please think of the greater good and what will benefit this country. Kay Hagan is a liability we cannot tolerate. Having supported Obama and Harry Reid 95% of the time, there is no more appropriate description of her than progressive. The progressives, whether by accident or by design, are destroying this country. The only way we can save it is if we elect men who are strong and capable and love this country like Thom Tillis.
