Read this Soni Akoji THE BOKO HARAM IN NIGERIANS WHO PURPORTS TO BE INFORMED! Before I start this piece, permit me to categorically state that there is a BOKO HARAM in all of us. This sounds preposterous, and I will attempt to convince you that majority of Nigerian who purports to be informed have a variant of the BOKO HARAM incubus. Yesterday marks the centennial of the Chibok girls in captivity as they spent their first 100 days in captivity. This is an important landmark and to be candid no one was happy that 100 days after our Chibok girls were abducted from the discomfort of their school, they are still in the forest at the mercy of the untouchable maniac who primed them away in a convoy of trucks across several hundred kilometers in a state under an emergency rule. As usual members of the Bring Back Our Girls have a special sit out at the Unity Fountain in Abuja to mark this day. On my itenary, I had a trip to Minna and I needed to service my car before I hit the road. While at the mechanic, a friend of mine called from Zaria to and intimated me about a bomb explosion in Kaduna with several casualties reported. He said I should be careful in case I am traveling to Kaduna. Ok Ive heard you was my lukewarmed response to him. He was not happy that I was disnterested in the breaking news of the bomb blast and he sought to know why. I asked him if he just got back to Nigeria after a long period of absence? Otherwise he should have gotten used to the fact that bomb blasts are no longer considered as breaking news in this part of the universe. They are now part of our culture. Those of you who invaded my inbox or called me on phone to find out why I didnt post the story of the Kaduna twin bomb blasts and the assasination attempt on General Mohammadu Buhari on my timeline, up to this moment, now know why. I am not sold out on the Labaran Makus shenanigan calling for a total blackout on Boko Haram reportage but yesterdays event in Kaduna was different. It has the big masquerade in the picture and I know some troglodytes on blogosphere were going to put a spin on it and I am NOT going to lend them my timeline to display their idiotic and moronic reasoning because I have a very short fuse when dealing with such intellectual cretins. However I took the pain to monitor debates on blogosphere. Was I disappointed? Not exactly as I had the opportunity to knock some dose of sense into some numb skulls. You are worst than BOKO HARAM if you theorized that Muhammadu Buhari orchestrated the bomb blast that could have easily claimed his life, just to prove that he is not the sponsor and brain behind BOKO HARAM. You are BOKO HARAM personified if in your warped logic you theorized that President Goodluck Jonathan targeted Mohammadu Buhari to eliminate him so that he can have an easy passage in the 2015 Presidential election. Incidentally most self aclaimmed intellectual liliputs who put up various conspiracy theories, was premised on either of the above hypothesis. At some point I was beginning to feel we have lost it as a nation of rational human beings. Yesterday I choose to wear a white polo T-shirt on top of a black jeans and a black Tennis canvas as I was going out to join the #BBOG campaigners to mark 100 days of Chibok abduction. Incidentally the pro-government campaigners and members of the #Release Our Girls were also marking the event at the Unity Fountain and they were all spotting white T-shirts. You may recalled that the last time this group attacked members of the BBOG campaigners at the Unity Fountain. So when I saw that this was not the gathering of the Red people, I engage my gear and zoomed off so as to avoid stories that touch. Luckily I didnt drive far when I spotted the Red People, so I slowed down, parked and proceeded to join them. As I was walking across the field, an elderly man spotting red called out to me: Hey you in white! I stopped and he walked up to me. Are you one of us? He asked. It depends on who the US is, I replied. Have you been coming for our meetings, he asked. Yeah but am not a red freak, if that is what this drill is all about. Excuse me, I told him with a tone of finality as I stepped away from his inquisition and joined the sea of red. (To be continued)
