Read this caption. This horrible need to paint the other side as evil without an ounce of human compassion, this is why the war will never end. This is why the concept of war will never ever end. This is human nature. Hamas does it. Israelis do it! Russians, Americans... the list goes on, and its just disgusting. Read the caption and then listen to what this woman says. Her two daughters died in her arms. She says shes come to accept that death is just a part of her life. All she has left is her religion, and so shes willing to die for it. This is a woman who has had a limited amount of choice in her life. She can either accept that she was unlucky enough to be born on the wrong side of the power divide, or she can believe theres a greater purpose for the death of her children. Im not saying shes right to believe what she believes. I dont agree with her, but I havent suffered her suffering either. Instead of having compassion, they heal her child and post it on the web to mock her and make her an example. So, when her friends, her relatives, when she sees this... how does that help her be less angry? How does that help her come to peace?
