Read this in entirety....The demise of black Family structure when it comes to Godly relationships thats something Im very passionate about. The Bible speaks of such terms like wife in your youth. Which would imply that in the Hebrew or Jewish culture they married much younger than todays society. In our generation most wont see what its like to have parents who are married for 40 or 50 years. That seems like something of the past. The generation of our great grandparents wedded younger, some even after high school. The importance of love and romance was in full effect, then you add in family structure that was so important in that era. That era featured more hardships, both externally and internally yet they found a way to be married. Then a shift changed happen in our community that introduced a couple of things. Lets remember our financial situation is nothing new. I think the change came in the form of true love, spiritual growth and role reversal. The lust part is so crucial, we see it in society, on tv and in our culture. Our younger people are developing younger, yet our culture is going in another direction. My generation, we dont see the role models who promote love,and marriage,now a days everyone says have fun. Thats not Gods system, fornication and lust is not Gods way. If we are serious about spiritual growth, which is Biblical growth. Then we know just how important marriage is for us to raise Holy children under one roof. The new age view of young marriage is so distorted, from movies to reality everybody says what put your career first but is that Gods way? Meanwhile the enemy is having a field day killing the family structure. The role reversal has produced a hardness and separation of two people who are suppose to be one. You have two people under one roof who dont share love or affection or team work instead, its about self. We know thats the way of the serpent satan. God has some things in place in this life, the man is the foundation, the head of the home. Leading the weaker vessel, Women are our team mate or support group and our lovable helpmate. We team mates not enemies. We have lost our love and we are in relationships with selfish ambition. We put our Jobs our schooling and even our family before our partner. We have to get back to Gods system, sisters embrace being submissive and help your man. Men lets focus on God and our women, and raising the Holy standard of a union.... DeAnthony Thompson
