Read what one of my students wrote on my birthday .There were thousands of birthday wishes that came my way and after spending more than 10 hours ,i still havent been able to clear my inbox so that i can start on my wall .I got this msg yesterday and am seeing it today .Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Sir! Youve been a constant guide to myriad of students like me out there. Youve been an epitome of encouragement, love and care. There is so much that we students have learnt from your strong intellect and vision! DPS Jaipur wouldnt have been the same without you! DPS Jaipur was the place where I first became a dipsite! I owe a lot to that temple of learning. I regret having to spend only 2 years with DPS Jaipur but those were the most cherished ones! DPS Gurgaon was where my talent was unleashed and it was in DPS Gurgaon that I fondly remember, you came as a Chief Guest for one of the scholar badge ceremonies in 2007 and I was so ecstatic that I was presented my 2nd scholar badge from you, Sir! Wishing you all the very best and many more birthdays to celebrate! Best Wishes -Nikita Prasad -Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication Amity University i wrote this to her Thanks Nikita .Yes ,i do remember you as a bright though somewhat quiet girl .And yes do i remember giving you a scholar badge and exchanging a word with you on the stage at DPS Gurgaon .I felt proud and moved .I remember going back and telling Sangita when she asked me about the function ,that it made me feel t that i had won a scholar badge .When she asked me why ,i said that i had the opportunity and privilege to present a badge to a student from my school who had managed to win the scholar badge at one of the best schools in the NCR .When she asked me your name i said Nikita Yes like you Nikita ,we as Principals go through a myriad of emotions and feelings .It is often linked with how well or badly you stand up to the rigours of life .Our life gets intertwined with the lives of our students .At the end of the day - even if you hero worship us or not -we are very ordinary human beings .God bless Stay connected .It demands a lot out of us .But its worth it .
