***Reader Needs Advice*** NO BASHING!!! Never done this before but cant hurt to try, huh! My boyfriend and I have been together for over 2 years. Weve always just been great together. We survived 10 months long distance. But my mom passed away in November and were not really doing so well anymore. Ive gone to him multiple times for comfort but he really just says the same thing over and over. Hes just been making himself emotionally unavailable to me or so it seems. I was very upset the other day and he just left the room. His family has been so supportive, but I dont really know if he even tries to comfort me. Then again, hes never really had a way with words. On top of this, Ive been going to school and just recently started a new job. Before when I wasnt working, I didnt mind doing all the chores. But now that I work and go to school, he still expects me to do it all. I feel helpless and overwhelmed and I dont know what to do. I asked him with some help with the laundry on his day off, and when I came home, he had run ONE load in the wash. Didnt even take what was out of the dryer to put aside for the clothes in the wash to dry. So when I got mad, he told me I overreacted and left. I love my boyfriend with all my heart, but Im really starting to resent him. Im not in a very good place, and it doesnt seem like hes willing to help.
