Reading "The Reason I Jump." Testimonial of a non-verbal autistic boy, 13, translated into English by the Cloud Atlas guy . . he and his tatterdermalion self. It looks at first, and likely to any reader with common sense, like its aiming at being a sentimental cry for help . . . in fact it is a study in consciousness, something I totally love and something that is truly necessary . . and it correlates to everything I want to discuss about the psychological range I deal with. Besides dealing with experience filtration and management, acceptance of reality as is, and descriptions of the experience itself that remind of mind expansion (that I have always been able to control, and have end) . . it is the effort put into something that cannot be controlled, something these children have with their bodies, that we have with our maddening minds, that we let go unaddressed because we dont have obvious physical issues . . I want to address it. You should read it . . .
