Reading a book, at intervals, titled Daily Rituals, a collection of short descriptions of the daily routines of famous creative people. Its making me feel a lot less crazy and guilty about my obsessive need for silence, solitude, and predictability during my working hours -- which I prefer to begin hours before dawn, and this too turns out to be a common preference. Its consoling to be reminded that there are people in this world who would think Im cool -- besides all my present friends, of course.
