Reading a post about the second tragic death of a young kid that Drowned in Dublin in a Man made lake...It strikes me that while there is a clamor for kids to be taught to swim younger and that these lakes are dangerous that we are missing the point. Young children require both supervision and awareness. Its the Parenting that ought to be taught in schools. there is a man made lake in st Stephens green and I have never heard of anyone drowning in that.
