Reading this information on introversion vs extroversion is quite interesting... I have had a misconstrued view on the two terms my entire life... Contrary to popular belief, introversion does not necessarily mean shyness. It also doesnt wholly mean that one doesnt like crowds.... in its simplest form, introverted people are beings who get recharged with alone time... this means a deemed introverted persons alone time is closely paralleled to sleep and rest. The alone time is essential for restoration. In contrast, extroverted individuals get recharged in the midst of people. Alone time often times saps the life out of the individual. Although I, like most, am an ambivert; i truly have many introverted tendencies... i love love love love LOVE not being bothered sometimes, and NEED my alone time to collect my thoughts, and keep the sanity i do possess. - Yes, I really am digging my major. lol.
