Reading this morning from Amos 1-5 Amos 4:13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name. In this passage of scripture, the Lord reminds Israel of all that He has done to call them back to him, but they have refused. Now He reminds them of who He is. What a shame that the creator and sustainer of life itself has to remind His creation that He is God. Our biggest problem is that we want to be god, the god of our lives, but there can only be one God. Be reminded today of who is God of your life. He has definitely earned the position and will do a much better job of it than you.
