Reading this morning from Exodus 21-24 Exodus 23:30-31 ESV Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land. (31) And I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates, for I will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you. The Lord describes how He will give the promised land to Israel. Note He says little by little until they have possessed all that He desires for them. That is how the Lord works in our lives in bringing us into the fulness of Christ. Dont get impatient, but consider the area the Lord is dealing with you today. Each time the Spirit is able to conquer an area of our lives we become more like our Savior. No matter how large or small, God is working in us desiring to conform us to the image of His Son.
