Reading this morning from Jeremiah 20-23 Jeremiah 23:21-23 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. (22) But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. (23) Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? - God was angry with the prophets that were saying all kinds of things but were not sent by Him. There are today so many standing and saying they have a word from the Lord that is not from God but from their own imaginations. Gods word is where we get Gods message. It is Gods written word that provides for true repentance and changed lives. Be careful not to be drawn into the false prophets of today. Know the Word, study the Word, live the Word.
