Reading through the posts, something has struck me about the majority of them: There are a lot of posts complaining about the status quo in this area where people have little or no defence against exploitation because they are in a position of financial weakness. They dont have enough money to live on while they make progress in their chosen career to the point where their career is paying them enough money to live on. Catch 22. Believe me I know how that feels having been an actor for 30+ years and so often having to take jobs which denied me the time to pursue work, find/attend auditions, etcetera, etcetera, et tedious, boring cetera. You know what I mean. What if there were another way round that problem? How many would take a different route? How many would be prepared to work part time in a business which would remove the barriers by providing a reliable income whether one was working (in the chosen career) or not? Would that help? I think it would, wouldnt it? Its certainly helping me. It exists, it can be done by anybody any time. And it is changing lives greatly for the better.
