Reading thru some material, I found some things I want to share with you. The famed Mayflower that brought the Pilgrims was a SLAVE ship. The captain, Tom Jones was a pirate and thief who had been taken out of jail to make the voyage. Before the Civil War MULATTOES in Ohio were permitted to VOTE under a judicial decision that said they were just as much WHITE as BLACK. Colonel George Wm. Fairfax a Virginia aristocrat and brother-in-law of George Washington was said to be Negro. Born in Nassau, West Indies, it was said his mother was DUSKY African beauty. He was next of kin to Lord Fairfax, Virginia riches land owner. Fairfax sister married George Washington brother. William Ward of Grand Parish LA. a captain of the militia and NEGRO member of the LA. legislature led an armed attack against the KKK on April 13, 1873. Tearing up sewer pipes, the Negroes made cannons of them, many killed and wounded on both sides. The 62nd. Regiment US Colored Infantry fired the last shot in the Civil War at Brownsville, TX, May 13, 1865. Pheobe Fraunces in 1776 saved George Washington life, a spy tried to poison his food. She told Washington not to eat the peas. Peas were thrown in yard, chickens ate peas and died. Spy was hung, she was rewarded. Sam Fraunces her father, known as Black Sam owned the tavern where Washington and his men made plans for rebellion. Sholto Douglas was founder of the famous Scott family immortalizes by Sir Walter Scot was a Negro. Douglas won prominence in 1770 when he came to the rescue of the King of the Scots in a battle and help bring about a complete victory.
