Real Madrid Spanish giants Real Madrid have topped Deloitte’s annual ranking of the world’s richest soccer clubs for an eighth consecutive year. The club’s revenue reached a whopping sum of 520.9 million excluding exclude player transfer fees, VAT and other sales-related taxes. This is the second time the club’s revenue is passing the 500 million mark following last year and they are also the first sports club to exceed the threshold of half a billion euros. “Real have led the way in the phenomenal level of revenue growth enjoyed by the sport’s top clubs over the past two decades,” Deloitte said. Meanwhile, Spanish Champions and Madrid’s arch rivals Barcelona came in second with revenue of 483 million euros and English Champions Manchester United who has revenue of 396 million completed the top three
