Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has dismissed the notion that Wednesdays 3-0 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund at the Santiago Bernabeu was not motivated by revenge. Los Blancos were beaten 4-3 on aggregate in the semi-finals of last seasons tournament but a repeat of that defeat seems unlikely after Madrids comfortable win in the first leg of their quarter-final tie courtesy of goals from Gareth Bale, Isco and Cristiano Ronaldo. I dont want to talk about revenge, only of Wednesdays game, which was a great one from our point of view, Benzema told Uefas official website. We scored three without reply, a very important achievement ahead of the second leg. Im very happy with the result. I dont know if that advantage is enough. We will see about that in the next game but for now we feel good. We will look to keep fighting until the end because Madrid are a great team. The return at Signal Iduna Park is scheduled for April 8
