Real Talk 101: ancestors assistance Western theology and ideology has convinced the people of color it is taboo for you to call upon your ancestors for aid. Though it is wrong for you to call upon your ancestors, they have convinced you it is acceptable for you to call upon their ancestors. They teach you to evoke the spirit of Jesus, the Holy Spirit! The Jewish messiah who is the son of god, god himself, and the spirit all in one! How then is evoking spirits taboo for one, but divine for another? I have been calling upon my kinfolk for the last 4 years and like those who call upon Jesus, I have yet to go without! I dont need to pray, all I have to do is ask.
