Real health and safety culture is practical... largely commonsense... and it should be at the heart of everything we all do at all times... there is no substitute for practical experience... but these types of courses must be a very good starting point... In the sort of circumstances found on farms pedantic proscriptive B/S style elf and safety that makes little allowance for commonsense should play a limited role as it possibly does more harm than good.
