Real question (meaning I open to real hopefully substantiated answers) if voting or your vote doesnt matter so much and there is no power in your vote or your demographics vote (lets say the youth). Then why did an entire socio-economic infrastructure put so much effort into trying stop just one, much smaller demographic (black voters) through out the civil rights era. I feel a system backed by billions of dollars and the industries/ industry owners people have no problem saying run the world would put their efforts else where if these votes individual or totaled were so ridiculously useless... just a thought
