Reality check....look around the supermarket tonight...happy, in love people....no perfect nose in sight... go figure. This emphasis on so called perfection in pursuit of what actually?? Love? Happiness? is wrong and leaves our young women who are trying to find their place in this world extremely overwhelmed, sad and depressed. This is what is driving suicide, depression and self harm rates through the roof. If there was a more obvious link from this type of article to someones eventual suicide we would be horrified and yet it is this constant judging of what is beauty or acceptable that is in fact doing just that. Enough already. Lets talk up the beauty in our differences.
