Reality check of the night: So...preached today, with my SCC family. First time in over 3 months. Got a completely humbling and emotional and unexpected reaction with the first words. Something I wasnt prepared for, and dont deserve, and still cant wrap my head around...Its so easy, isnt it, to forget or minimize the influence our lives can have? Like, I would guess theres someone in your life, even right at this very moment, who is watching you and listening to you and taking your life in and maybe even learning something about how to handle things themselves. I would challenge myself, and all of us, to take a few moments, right now, and picture or even write down those people closest to you--and maybe even those at a distance--that you are influencing more than you realize. Thatll be a pretty good dose of reality, I think...
