Really Good Spark We move to Michigan about a month ago and my son came home today and told me that if I look at his lunch account the extra milk was for a friend who didnt have money in his account so couldnt eat. His friends had been getting him small things, milk or cookies, to get through the day but that was all. I told him we are gonna send a $10 check for him to put in his lunch account but my son is horrible with names so I didnt have one to designate for which child it was for. My son, all of 13, searched his wallet and found a $10 bill to give to the boy to put in so he didnt have to be embarrassed with a check from another family! I figure they are probably on the reduced lunch program which takes meals to $0.40 instead of the $3.50 it normally is! At least I hope so cause $10 wont buy much if not. We even qualify for it. If we didnt we would have to send them with lunch every day. I know that my son is learning right when he wants to do that! I told him we will give him the $10 back when dad gets paid again, we dont keep cash on hand much, but he didnt seem to care. Just wants to help this boy he cant remember the name of! He will definitely be getting it back and probably more for showing outstanding character! So glad my boys are getting it!
