Really did not want to post this but, I was picking up some groceries tonight over at the Safeway on Foothill Blvd in Hayward while my daughter was at dance class. We head to the produce section to get some apples. I kid you not, there were bites taken out of several apples as I went to pick out a dozen or so. That stopped me in my tracks. I alerted the customer service desk and they immediately started removing them. Apparently it was out of sight of the surveillance camera so no footage of the person / people doing it. But guh-ross! I wound up getting a bag of apples that were pre-packaged instead of the loose apples. Double YUCK.
