Really enjoyed Hobbit 3 today, much to my surprise. I could even see the reason for most of the additions and alterations that had eluded me in the first two. Particularly liked the spiritual warfare bit with Galadriel versus Sauron. The death scenes were done well. Thranduil more stupid and not as impressive as in the previous films, especially being made to say that love hurts because its real. Hmm, lots of things are real but dont hurt. Links at the end to LOTR made me want to watch it straightaway!
